Global partnership, local service.

Robotic welding is a well-established and widely practiced manufacturing technique. However, when it comes to low volume production runs and one-off parts, the process becomes more complex and requires a greater commitment from all parties involved to ensure the investment is successful and sustainable.

Program freedom

That’s why igm and Protube Engineering have partnered to establish igm Robotic Welding Solutions Australia Pty Ltd. The goal is not only to optimise the outcome and guarantee the productivity of the systems installed, but to ensure long-term support is provided from day one and beyond the initial installation, as needed.

Too often, once commissioning is complete, customers are left to their own devices, which can compromise results and ROI, particularly when there are skilled operator or programmer shortages outside of their control. To support our existing and future customers, we have invested in highly skilled personnel, spare parts, backup and service.

Adelaide-based demonstrations

We have recently installed a full six-axis welding robot with a laser camera, twin welding, scanning, and offline software at our offices for testing, trials, simulations, training, general support, and customer assistance.

Committed to your success

igm Australia and Protube Engineering aim to be the leading provider of robotic welding technology for low volume applications in Australia, New Zealand, and surrounding areas.
